I started liking clay when I went to an evening art school during the 12th grade. I happened to be in a superb teacher’s class, and, honestly, it’s thanks to her that I was able to do anything at all with clay, not to mention love sculpting in general.
I don’t have exact dates for each piece listed here, but I will add the dates from the photo metadata for posterity. Oldest first.
Later stuff
I haven’t practiced much after I finished the art school. But clay was always a good skill for me to have. Especially when it came to 3D modelling – I categorically couldn’t “feel” whatever it was that I tried to model if it was on a computer screen. So on several occasionas I resorted to modelling something with clay, 3D-scanning it, and retopologizing. So there’s that.
